Thanks to Tony and Heather for reviewing my book! Yes the typos and continuity errors were left in purposely. I wanted the book to have a total b-movie feel.

thanks again!

You make a good point Pat, but there's a key difference here: Plan 9 is terrible, yes, but it's earnest in it's terrible-ness and as a result, it obviously exudes a certain kind of charm that people gravitate to. Plus, it was an original work; a scattershot, hapharazrdly-made original work, granted, but original nonetheless. This comic book is NONE of the above things. It's a cheap, half-assed attempt at cashing in on the popularity of another work, and it holds no entertainment value, the intentional or unintentional kind, for the reader. I'm not a large man, but if I saw the executive who green-lit this book out at a bar, odds are good I would pick a fight with him/her (which I would almost surely lose).

Tom, so long as I draw breath into my body, this book will NEVER be a "classic." You can read my copy if you're that full of self-loathing. Hell, you can HAVE my copy!

Laughing Out Loud!
Can this one-day turn into a classic for being so terrible? I want to read this now because of this scathing review!
I say this is reverse psychology, Tony truly wants us to read it...

It was more than just alright.

I read Lazarus in less than eight hours and out of all the monsters in horror the zombie is my least favorite.

It's always interesting when people who review horror readily accept zombies, ghost and supernatural events and then turn around say something like its "unrealistic" that two people would become attracted to each other in such a short period of time. How unrealistic are one night stands? Those happen pretty instantaneously and let's not forget the term "love at 1st sight."

In my own personal opinion Lazarus in a 10.

I read this one a while back and liked it a bit more than you did. I felt like it was a nice piece with enough different about it to make it stand out from other similar tales. The zombies were a nice morph of voodoo and modern day. Still, I get where you are coming from with the review.
